Agility Announces Senior Appointment in North Asia

SEOUL, South Korea - October 04, 2010 - Agility, a leading global logistics provider, has appointed Steve Whittingham as managing director for Korea and Japan as the company strengthens its management team in these important growing markets.

Whittingham comes to Agility with a strong track record in sales, forwarding and general management across Africa, South East Asia and Australia. During his 20-year career he has held senior management and managing director positions with UTI in South Africa/ Zimbabwe, managing director positions with BAX Global in Thailand and Malaysia and was the director and general manager of a retail distribution company in Australia.

Commenting on the appointment, Mick Turnbull, CEO, Australasia and North Asia said, “We are delighted that Steve has joined Agility to lead our business in Korea and Japan where we have a well established client base and many growth opportunities.”

Whittingham will be based in Agility’s Seoul office.
