Americold Ontario, California Facility Earns Industry Award

ATLANTA, Georgia (October 17, 2012) – Americold, a global leader in temperature controlled warehousing and logistics to the food industry, announced today that Malaga Place, the company’s Ontario, California facility, was named as the General Mills Frozen Facility of the Year for 2011. General Mills is one of the world’s leading food companies, operating in more than 100 countries.  The award is based on a facility’s track record of achieving operational targets and service level key performance indicators.

Americold has been a supplier to General Mills for more than 35 years. The Americold West Memphis, Arkansas facility has secured five General Mills Frozen Facility of the Year awards.
