Day & Ross Announces Leadership Appointments

January 3, 2013 - Hartland, N.B. - Day and Ross Freight, Canada’s leading national road carrier announces the appointment of Larry Rodo to the position of President.

Day & Ross is pleased to announce the appointment of Larry Rodo to the position of President, Day & Ross Freight. In this role Larry has total responsibility for the companies LTL and TL division.

Larry joins Day & Ross from Brinks USA where he was President, prior to this Larry was President of Brinks Canada and previously held senior executive roles with Nadiscorp, Schenker and Reimer Express Lines. Larry has an extensive background in transportation and logistics. Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the CITT’s professional certification program.

Larry has presented at many conferences on the subject of transportation and logistics and is well regarded for his industry knowledge.

Day & Ross Transportation Group Inc., has also announced the Appointment of Doug Harrison to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role Doug will have responsibility for the company’s overall strategy, a number of its support groups and its four operating companies.
 
Doug joined Day & Ross in 2011 as President of Day & Ross Freight. Doug has held various senior executive positions within the transportation and logistics industry and is recognized as a leader in the sector. In addition Doug serves on a number of volunteer and company Boards and is active as a speaker and presenter at numerous industry events.
